OMG, so I was eating toast this morning and I wasn't eating the crusts, so I set them down on a napkin in front of me and when I looked down to pick up the napkin when I was through, the crust edges SPELLED A WORD.

No joke.

The word was FLIXIE.

I think it's like the meaning of life or something like that...

I googled it to see if it meant anything and I came up with a page that said 'Unsolved Mysteries' or something like that and I got all excited except for all I got was a picture of a CAT.

So....yeah....the meaning of life is this cat named Flixie....

Anyways....

I know, I know, I haven't posted in about two months....you know, I'll stop saying this every time I post a journal. I'll just say something simple like: Here we go.

So, here we go:

A few cool things:

1. Willy Wonka ended---I had a blast. I got to fly, meaning, I got to miss some school to learn how to fly, wheeeee!!!! (haha, i told my teachers that and they're like, good luck with that, and i was like, no; really, i get to fly, like, HARNESS fly.) Let's just say it was so much fun to be twenty feet in the air, but the harness was just so tight and uncomfortable that I could hardly enjoy myself while I did backflips and sang at the same time. If you ever get a chance to fly, GRAB IT!

2. I'm seventeen now, which is a cool number. My birthday was on the Saturday show of Willy Wonka, meaning I spent the whole day at the theater doing two back to back shows. The cool thing: I got to spend the day with people I love doing what I love and FLYING. Also the crew hid happy birthday messages everywhere, from inside the soup bowl, to on the pink candy boat, to in the pit, to on the back of the procenium arch thing (I didn't notice the latter until I was about twenty feet up in the air and I nearly laughed).

3. I got a scholarship to Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp! Whoohoo! I'm gonna be in the same cabin as one of my best friends, Lachlan (who just moved away, but I'll get to that in a bit).

4. SO MANY GRAD PARTIES AHHH!!!

5. Ahem. School is almost over. Ahem. Ahem.

6. I GO ON AN ALASKAN CRUISE IN A FEW WEEKS WHOOT!

7. And...yeah, that's pretty much it.


A Few Not So Cool Things:

1. One of my best friends, Lachlan, moved yesterday. My friends and I went to a fancy Italian restaurant in the downtown area and ate outside. It was pretty awesome.
I also don't think I've cried so much since...I dunno when....I actually haven't cried since the last show in Les Mis...

Oh yes, and very unfortunate discovery: I have a nasty habit of rhyming when I'm upset.

OH, and book reviews:

Battle of the Labyrinth:
Freakin' awesome! I missed the whole road trip feel that was in the other books because they could go almost anywhere just by walking around in the tunnels, but oh well. And I was hoping for a big twist at the end, like every good penultimate book should have, but oh well...oh, and Rachel Elizabeth Dare rocks.
I have a theory behind the reason why Rachel can see through the Mist: maybe people who have that ability are destined to marry or have kids with a god/goddess? I dunno...I'll ponder that though...

Raven Rise:
Hm...I really liked the story, but it had a slow start and there weren't really huge twists at the end like every penultimate book should have.

And other books blah blah blah....

I've come to realize just how much I despise Stephenie Meyer's works. I regret purchasing the first two before I read them. I read the third and came to the conclusion that they all SUCKED. No story, too sappy, hate the characters, too repetitive, etc etc etc opinions opinions opinions don't mind me just sharin' opinions...

At the rate I'm going, see you again in about two months lol
